How to Register

If you are interested in joining our club, please follow our step-by-step guide to registering! A question box can be found at the bottom of the page if there are any outstanding questions not addressed in the guide. Information on financial supports can be found midway down the page.

Register for an Athletics Alberta Membership

Please register for an annual Athletics Alberta Membership with your athlete's corresponding age group HERE.  If you registered for a two-week free trial membership, or you have previously registered with Athletics Alberta, choose "Renewing member." If you have not previously registered with Athletics Alberta, choose "New member." 

 

Please choose St. Albert Mustangs Track & Field Club (STAL) as the request club.

 

Corresponding age groups are determined by year of birth using this guide:

2024 Competition Year:

  • U10 - 2015/2016

  • U12 - 2013/2014

  • U14 - 2011/2012

  • U16 - 2009/2010

  • U18 - 2007/2008

  • U20 - 2006/2005

  • Senior/Open - 2004-1988

  • Masters - <1988

Register on Trackie

Now that your athlete is signed up for an Athletics Alberta Number, you can register to be a part of the team for the upcoming seasons using these trackie links. Links to registration will be provided when registration goes live. Ensure that the proper age is selected for your athlete so they can be registered in the correct program.

Download Teamsnap

Once we receive your registration form, your athlete will be added to the corresponding Teamsnap for their program using the email provided in registration. Please download teamsnap app on you and/or your athletes phone and create an account using the same email that was used on the registration form.  Ensure all of the personal and contact information is correct.

Provide Volunteer and Fundraising Cheque

A $100 fundraising cheque and a $200 volunteer post dated cheque for volunteer hours will need to be provided to the club as part of our volunteer and fundraising club requirements. More information can be found HERE.
