How to Register

Register for an Athletics Alberta Membership
Please register for an annual Athletics Alberta Membership with your athlete's corresponding age group HERE. If you registered for a two-week free trial membership, or you have previously registered with Athletics Alberta, choose "Manage Your Membership." If you have not previously registered with Athletics Alberta, choose "Register For 2026" and then click on "Create Account".
Please choose St. Albert Mustangs Track & Field Club (STAL) as the request club.
Corresponding age groups are determined by year of birth using this guide:
2026 Competition Year:

U10 - 2017/2018

U12 - 2015/2016

U14 - 2013/2014

U16 - 2011/2012

U20 - 2007/2008

Senior/Open - 2006-1990

Register on TeamSnap
Now that your athlete is signed up for an Athletics Alberta Number, you can register to be a part of the team for the upcoming season. Links to registration will be provided when registration goes live. Ensure that the proper age is selected for your athlete so they can be registered in the correct program.

Download TeamSnap & Join WhatsApp
Once we receive your registration confirmation, your athlete will be added to the corresponding TeamSnap team for their program using the email provided in registration. If others need to see teams on Team Snap please have the Registrant add you to each team:
1. Select the team in TeamSnap
2. Click on the profile icon
3. Select View Team Profile
4. Click "Add Family Member"
These instructions may vary by device but should be fairly accurate.
AND
You'll be added to our WhatsApp community. This community will have chats for all relevant club information. Make sure to join these groups:
- Announcements
- General
- Training Groups: Based on age + specific training group
- Club Commitment Groups: Bingos, Fundraising, Challenge, etc.
- Specific Meet Groups (for the meets you plan to attend)
- Optional Groups: Mustang Clothing, Equipment Sales/Swap, Social Media Photos, etc.
