Amy Millar

Amy has loved track and field since she was 12 years old, when she first started competing with her school and local club teams. She tried a bit of everything before discovering her passion for high jump and triple jump in high school and continuing with the University of Alberta track and field team.

She began coaching in 2007 and has been part of the Mustangs family since 2009 (with a short break for grad school!). Over the years, Amy has had the joy of working with athletes as they grow and succeed—from their first local meets all the way to provincial and national levels.

Now a Certified Performance Coach in Jumps and a Chartered Professional Coach, Amy is passionate about helping athletes build confidence, master their craft, and most importantly, find joy in the jumps.
