Age Groups
Our Mini Mustangs program comprises two age groups: U10 & U12. Age groups are based on birth year.
For the 2026 competition year:
U10 (born 2017 - 2019)
U12 (born 2015 - 2016)

Competition Gear
At a minimum a singlet (top) is required:

Mini Mustangs: Youth singlet (~$70)
All new Mustangs will purchase a singlet when you register. You don't need to purchase a new Singlet each season. Just when your athlete outgrows it or moves to the JD program.

What events do Mini Mustangs train/compete in?
Common Events for U10 & U12 include:

Track: 60m, 100m, 150m, 200m, 400m, 600m, 800m, 1000m, and relays (4x100m, 4x200m, medley).

Field: Long Jump, Standing Long Jump, Shot Put (usually lighter weight), Ball Throw, and Turbo Javelin.
* Events vary depending on the season, age group and track meet.
