​Chris Schwarz is a masters runner and coach based in Edmonton, AB.  He started cross country in junior high school and has been passionate about the sport ever since.  He now competes as a masters runner in various road and trail events, specializing in the marathon.  He currently holds Alberta provincial age group records in the 10km and marathon distances and completed the Abbott World Majors Six Star Challenge in Tokyo in March 2023.  He coaches the senior long distance group, working with athletes competing in distances of 1500m and up.
